Customer Reviews

"Hotdogs were delicious. The medium sauce was perfectly, well, medium. However, what really stood out to me were the fries. Super crispy and super hot. Seasoned perfectly. They were some of the best fries I've ever had. Service felt a bit rushed, like they were in a bad mood. I get it though. Working at a casual, fast(ish) food joint like that sucks. The service was timely and that's the most important part. All in all, five stars. Please support local restaurants like Hometown Hotdogs instead of corporate drive thrus that are now more expensive. You won't regret it."

"My favorite place for Hotdogs! Love the Lava Dogs. Heard the Reaper Dogs were too hot. May try one next time. Update-still my favorite hotdogs. Lava Dogs are the best. Still didn't try a Reaper Dog."

"Nice, quaint eating area. They serve hotdogs, hamburgers, fries among other very delicious items. Staff are friendly and bust their hump to serve you with little waiting. Price is in the affordable to all category. If you like spice, try their hot sauces!"

"What a great place to get great hot dogs! The girls working were very friendly and accommodating as we placed our order (to go) 10 minutes before closing. A nice collection of high school memorabilia from the area along with other famous sports figures. This location is very spacious inside and offers two very large picnic tables outside for days/evenings when it's nice weather. The hot dogs can't be beat with their homemade chili and their crinkle cut fries were piping hot and crispy the way fries should be! My entire family (5 of us) can eat with drinks for average price of $30 which makes Hometown Hotdogs wallet friendly!"

"Me and my husband are road tripping and we stoped at Hometown Hotdogs and let me tell you as soon as we walked in the decor and the atmosphere was already a 10! We saw some people eating inside and outside, the prices are fair and the food delicious. We ordered for the road and waited for like 5min only. Super fast, so I thought it may be cold and was probably already sitting there for a while and that's why it was so fast... EVERYTHING WAS FRESH AND HOT!! Fries crisp as they can be, dogs tasted espetacular. I wish we could head back and order more but we are too far now lol. You won't regret!! Ps: the photo only shows the fries cus it was so good we didn't even think about taking photos of the dogs lol"

"My wife and I I were traveling back from Florida to Toronto and stayed a night across the road. We both had a double cheeseburger and one order of fries and onion rings, plus some other light stuff. The food was the best I've had from a takeout spot. We were both very impressed with the homemade taste and awesome prices. Will definitely stop by again on our next trip south. Thanks to the wonderful young lady that took our order she had patience, smiled and thanked us for trying a new place for us. The best experience on a 22 hour drive home. Thank you so much. Cheers."
